DIRECTOR OF PROPERTY SERVICES

 

YOUR ROLE

 

As Director of Property Services, you will have overall responsibility for the group’s repairs and maintenance company Sovini Property Services (SPS) and Scaffold Company, Teal.

 

You will be responsible for repairs and maintenance in respect of the Group’s housing units, circa 14,000 properties, as well as identifying opportunities for external growth in SPS and Teal, providing an exceptional service to our customers. We currently have contracts around the North West, London and Buxton. You will ideally have experience in a commercial maintenance environment.

HEAD OF DEVELOPMENT

As Head of Development, you will have responsibility for leading the Development Team and successfully delivering the Group’s development strategy resulting in the provision quality new homes across our communities.

 

We are currently going through a period of change following the implementation of an agile working model. You will support, motivate and develop employees as we look to embed a culture with maximum flexibility whilst maintaining high performance. You will be responsible for maintaining effective relationships with partners internally and externally to ensure that all development projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.  Ideally you will have experience of working within development in the private sector as well as Social Housing.

LAND MANAGER

 

YOUR ROLE

 

As a Land Manager with Sovini, you will:

 

  • Identify and secure land opportunities for The Sovini Group, in order to facilitate the delivery of ambitious growth plans.
  • Be expected to manage and maintain a healthy land bank for future developments.
  • Source land that is suitable for development through your own network of contacts
  • Develop strong relationships with investors, local authorities, agents and consultants who will assist in bringing new opportunities forward.
  • Play a key role in managing the land appraisal software, reviewing and providing recommendations on similar development software to ensure pre-planning risk is minimised.

You will:

  • Be educated to degree standard or equivalent,
  • Have a minimum 2 years’ experience as a Land Manager
  • ]Have an established network of local contacts related to land ownership and sourcing
  • Have experience of New Build Housing and Land purchase
    Knowledge of housing software including Land Insight and Porval
  • The ability to formulate and negotiate offers
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Full driving license and access to a vehicle in order to visit Land in the Merseyside area
